I hear many people say, “I gave my life to Christ when I was …..” Well I want to say I didn’t give my life to Christ, HE gave me his life. When I read the Bible to gain understanding about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit I can only go by what happened in my life. Everyone says don’t put God in a Box. What is that about, God said he changes not. He is what he is, he is the GREAT I AM. One Friday God started drawing me. I didn’t know that is what he was doing at the time, but now after reading and studying and being in relationship with God he has shown me a many things. I was so excited for the first time in my life about going to Church that Sunday. I was inviting everyone to go with me. I even offered to pick them up. I had a level of excitement that was unreal. When I got in the Church and I was standing in the hallway waiting to go in the choir was singing “Take me to the Water to Be Baptize”. Was a a coincidence or was that in God’s divine order. I use to think it was, but now I know that God is sovereign and sets everything up for his children. He wanted me to know maybe not right them that this was a divine work that he was doing in my life. I turned to look outside as the cars drove by something went all through me. I will never forget it. From that moment on I was a different person. I went in the church with my hands up in the air praising the Lord without shame. There was such a LOVE that came over me for him and him for me. I will never forget that moment. After Church I went looking for a Bible. Had to wait until the next day to go buy one.

When I begin reading it the scriptures just opened up to me. From the first word to the end revelation of his word was pouring in and through me. Things I didn’t understand I didn’t totally understand, but began to put things in order. When I got the part where God said he would give his a “new Heart” and take out the stony heart I knew that is what he did. I was totally changed and totally humbled. My husband (at the time) thought I had went to church and fell in love with the preacher. I went to work and they thought I had lost my mind. It seems like for about a year God took my hand and walked me around in life and shown me who I truly was. I would see people being mean and God would say, “that was you”. I would leave places crying. Asking God to forgiven me. He had given me that repentance heart. After my husband left me and I did some more growing up on January 1st I was on the treadmill where I did a lot of talking to God and that same thing happened to me again that happened that day in Church. It was like God gave me faith in him. I had always struggled with the three Hebrew boys getting in the fire for Jesus and at that moment I could truly understand how they did. I could truly understand how someone could died for him.

I hear people say different things that I don’t agree with. I don’t believe that a person can be preached to and they can “hear” or understand unless God has granted them to hear. I don’t believe people can come to the end of themselves because “no man seeks after God”. No man can come to God because he “wills” to. You can only come if you have the Spirit and God draws you.

If I lack understanding because I have the spirit of God he will correct my thinking because he brings me into all truth.

This is the official first day of the rest of my life that I will get a paycheck that I will not have to work for. I give “all” the glory to God. It was all him and none of me. I Love God where he has me and where we are going. I feel secure in his arms. I have “no” fear. I know my eternity is secure in him. I know that I am one of God’s Elect; that before I did anything good or bad, before I was born, before the foundation of the earth, he/God chose me for his Son. I know that when Jesus rose from the grave; I rose with him. I know that I am the church, the Bride of Christ and one day just as I am in Christ, we will be back in God.

For that, I am most humble and most grateful. For I know it was ‘NOTHING’ that I did. It was God’s sovienity that chose me. I fall on my face when I think about the GRACE that I walk in. Now I truly understand when Paul says, to die is Gain. The more I know him the more I Love HIM. For it is not about me, but ALL ABOUT YOU!

What more can I say about God. Because he is; I am. There would be no me without him. He gave me “life”. He gave me eyes to see and ears to hear. As I get closer and closer to my Lord I have less and less to say to the world. They don’t know and they don’t understand. I can only be a light to those in darkness. The people that “say” with thier lips that they know God beat me up the most. It’s okay, there again they don’t know.

I am about to retire from my job and it is totally by the GRACE of GOD. I thank him and celebrate him. I look forward to what he will have me do next. More and more my heart stays forcus on him. There isn’t a thought that comes into my mind that is not somehow attached to God. How can I be better and most of all how can I know him better.

I just want to know him in his fullness. The more you know the more you separated yourself from this world. I take this time to thank him in front of the world for ALL that he has done. He knows that he is my ALL and ALL.

The only place to talk about this is here, so I am. Whether anyone agrees or not this is what I know about God. He teaches us through natural sources. In the Bible it was first in the natural and then in the spirit. God used a man who loved a woman who kept leaving him sleeping with other men as an example of how we do him. In so many instances God did that for us to learn.

I was sitting in Church on Sunday, and I have learned to sit and listen because it really allows you to know where a person is and their knowledge of the father and it to teaches you to be humble. Jesus listened in the synogues when he actually could have been teaching them. I always hear you have to RECEIVE and BELIEVE and then Jesus will come into your heart. NOT TRUE! NOT TRUE! NOT TRUE! Nobody believes me, but that is okay. I just want to scream when I hear this. I could go scripture after scripture and people still wouldn’t believe me because that is simply not their experience.

First of all, did you chose your parents in the natural? NO If you are dead prior to God giving you life how can you hear and how to do you chose? You simply can’t. For someone to believe otherwise is simply foolishness. You have to be BORN before you can believe. 1 John talks about those that believeth are born of God. You have to be born of God, first. The way the churches are teaching is FLESH! Man believes he has this power to chose God. You think God is sitting saying Oh, I’m going to send someone to them and see if they choose me? God already knows the end from the beginning. The only people that have chose in this world is the ones God has opened their eyes and they can blasphene the Holy Spirit, but that simply isn’t going to happen. It is like the blind man that was in John 9 that was blind from his birth. Jesus opened his eyes, he gets to see all that he has been missing and then tells Jesus no I don’t want to follow you make me blind again. That is stupid.

Most people I hear are like the people that followed Jesus prior to receiving the Holy Spirit. They had head knowledge of him, but was not born of the Spirit. When you are born of the Spirit you have a different walk and a different talk. You have a WITNESS in you. Nothing has to be proven to you because you have a witness. Unless you have experience receiving that witness all this is just words and your inner pride will make you hate me or write something negative.

I hope God shows me what to do with what he has taught me. Right now I just reach out and LOVE people the way he showed me how. He is constantly washing me and changing me and I love the change and I love the control he has over my life. He is my all and all.

Born to Believe

Mark 8:27 And Jesus went on with his disciples, to the villages of Caesare’a Philip’pi; and on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do men say that I am?” 28 And they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Eli’jah; and others one of the prophets.” 29 And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.”

I am just meditating on God’s Word and it is so GOOD. Who do you say that I am? Jesus told Peter when Peter responded, flesh and blood did not reveal that, but my Father in Heaven. My question to you is who revealed Jesus to you? Was it flesh and blood or my Father in Heaven. Are you receiving the word from Man or from God? Are you reading the Word so you can believe? Or are you reading because you believe?

If man reveals Jesus then man has to continue to reveal him to you and explain to you who he is and how much he loves you. Your flesh has to constantly be stoked by man. When Jesus reveals himself to you NO MAN has to tell you how much Jesus Loves You and even what he has done for you. The Spirit will reveal truth. You won’t have to go to Man’s school to learn of God; God himself will teach you.

Whoever you are birth from is who you learn from. If you were born from Man you learn from Man. If you are born of God, you learn from God. He is a GREAT TEACHER.

Again, Who do you say that I am?

Blessings,

Since I have been sitting under the direction of the Holy Spirit He has so caused me to search for truth. When I was a young in the word and I heard that we were to tithe, immediately I tithe. One day I looked up and realized there was something that wasn’t true that I had taken in. I needed to go back and learn the truth because the blessings were obviously there (I was that kind of blessed in the world), but they (the blessings) were not chasing me down. I have always believed that God’s Word was true, but if I didn’t understand or things didn’t seem right it was my lack of understanding. God caused me to go back and learn new testament giving and it is by the Spirit that we give and not by the demand of man.

So I am moving along learning the things of God when suddenly I was diagnosed with cancer. Oops what is this? I thought I was made whole when I was “Born Again” in “every area of my life”. Could it be that I lacked understanding again? The believers around me said, no you just have to “believe you receive”. What is that? Did I need to believe more for a physical healing than I did for my spiritual healing? I didn’t even know I was spiritually sick (DEAD) until God healed me by his Grace. Opened my eyes (you know that “free gift”) to see who I really was. He showed me that I needed him because I was blind held captive by this world and my sin nature. He even showed me that the same way he opened Eve eyes to the evil of this world he opened my eyes to his goodness/his LOVE. Now people around me started indicating that they were never sick cause they knew how to fight the devil off. I guess they were saying they have a better belief system. I don’t know. There is that condemnation that people try to put on you, but we know for the true believers there is now no condemnation when you are in Christ Jesus. So in my affliction I have been so reaching for truth. Diligently seeking truth. Not man’s truth, but God’s who is the Arthur and finisher of my faith.

I don’t need any man telling me “how much God loves me” cause God has told me himself. Every time God’s word doesn’t work the way people have proclaimed they make excuses. They say if you tithe and you aren’t blessed it is cause you are not giving to the high priest “me” (the preacher), the anointed one your money. If you are not healed physically it is because you don’t “take communion” everyday, or you have some unforgiveness or some carnal lame excuse. God’s word ALWAYS works. If it isn’t working in your life it is SOLELY because you lack understanding.

So I go back to the beginning. God shows me the whole Bible is a parable. It is for believers only. Not so you can believe, but because you believe. I knew that there are real healings in the 4 gospel, but they really are speaking to those who have an “ear” to hear. John chapter 9 is really a parable of us, but there is truly a blind man (but we are too until Jesus quickens us). Then it hit me again, Jesus taught under the old testament; the Holy Ghost had not yet come so He did a physical truth to teach the believer a spiritual truth. Oh my God.

All the time that Jesus healed people was before the Cross. Before there ever was any Atonement, before there was any provision for salvation. That’s when verse 53:4 in Isaiah was fulfilled. He Jesus bore the physical illnesses BEFORE THE ATONEMENT. So physical healing cannot be a result of the Atonement. When you get to Isa 53:5 it is speaking of our transgressions, our iniquities, our sins which are borne by Christ on the cross. Christ’s Atonement is the basis for our spiritual healing from sin and which is ultimately the basis for all believers’ perfect resurrection bodies which will have no infirmities or diseases because the cause – sin – has been removed!

If physical healing is in the Atonement then a Believer would not die physically because his physical healing would be eternal just like his spiritual healing. But guess what BELIEVERS DO DIE!

Jesus ministry was not to relieve the sufferings of humanity, but to provide a solution for the old sin nature which caused the suffering in the first place. The healings that Christ performed were simply to prove himself as the Messiah and his message. The source of all physical suffering is sin. God does give the gifts of healing to believers today. He also does miracle healing today as well. But to say that it is your benefit to never get sick or be poor financially is simply not the truth. People that don’t believe in God can never be sick. People that don’t believe in God could be physically rich. To say that Jesus died to set us free in that area is to say that his work isn’t finish and that simply isn’t the TRUTH!

Yours in Christ,

I hope this blesses someone.

(Jesus healed our Spirit; not our flesh)

In my quest to find truth I have received so many revelations. I so truly loved the Lord why? Because he FIRST loved me. I want so much to know the pure truth. Not truth from man, but from the Spirit.

So many times I have heard the scripture over and over, “by his stripes we are healed”. After I was born again I became physically sick. I just could not understand it. If I was made “whole” then why was I sick. Then people would say cause you haven’t received the healing for your physical body. Well, it would seem that if I was born again and believed that then the “healing my physical body” would be simple to believe. Can’t need more faith for healing the physical than the spiritual.

So I moved on looking for truth. One day it hit me the whole Bible is a Parable and those that have an “ear” let them “hear” what the Spirit is saying. I knew with my whole heart after reading a website with all the incidents of Jesus healing the sick that it was not about the physical sickness it was a spiritual sickness. The parable told not in simple words, but in events in people’s lives. There is nothing that speaks more of the reality of sin and judgement than disease and death, and there is nothing that reveals more of God’s saving love and grace than healing and health. This is why healing was Jesus’ ministry, why healing was constantly a part of his interaction with people. He used healing to reveal himself to people.

The Great Physician comes from the fact that Jesus referred to Himself twice as a physician. Once he was referring to the rejection of Himself in His native town: “You will surely say this proverb to Me, “physician, heal yourself””, Luke 4:23. He had just read in the synagogue from Isaiah about God’s servant sent to proclaim liberty, recovery and healing.

The second time is record in Matthew, Mark and Luke. Jesus was dining with the tax collectors and sinncer at Matthew’s house. When the Pharisees grumbled and asked Him why He ate with them, Jesus replied, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance” (Luke 5:31-32).

Can Jesus heal our flesh? Yes.

I am often amazed by what I hear out of the pulpits of America. I am even more amazed how many people are sitting under the teaching. Then I go to the scripture Matt 15:13: every plant, my heavenly father has not planted , shall be rooted up and the next verse says, “Let them along, they be blind leaders of the blind”. Soon after that scripture in goes into the story of the feeding the multitude. This has so many meanings, but the one that I draw on today is in Matt 16:9-11 (paraphrased) I spake not unto you of concerning bread, that you should BEWARE of the leaven (false doctrine ) of the Pharisees. Jesus took five loaves of bread and feed five thousand and then seven loaves and feed seven thousand and had some left over. False teaching is feed and multiplied then it is taken out and feed to others.

Man doesn’t know how much bondage he is in until he has been freed. He doesn’t know he is blind until he can see. Jesus said his sheep know his voice and they follow HIM not these preachers. God teaches his all his children so BEWARE.

Blessings!

Isaiah 53:4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 24Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

I was born again in 2001. Around 2007 I was diagnosed with cancer. How could that be because the scripture said that “by his stripes I was healed” and when I was born again I thought God made me whole in every area of my life. Let me tell you I was then and I am now sold out for Jesus. I had read this scripture over and over and I couldn’t understand it. If I was healed and made whole 2000 years ago (or when I was born again) why was I being diagnosed with cancer. I knew that God’s word was true, but it must be my lack of understanding. Everywhere I went people quoted, “by his stripes you are healed”. 1 Peter 2:24 by his stripes we WERE healed. Here I was sick. Then the religious people would say, “ Oh you just don’t believe and you are just going to have to try harder to believe you are healed”. Well, that frame of thinking kind of put the burden back on me that I just wasn’t believing good enough or I didn’t have faith enough. Well, God said all you needed was a grain of mustard seed faith and you could move mountains. To further my evidence that the scripture meant more was because they would use their obedience to God as the reason they were not sick or they were rich. I knew people who denied God with their mouths and lived to be 100, and I knew people that denied God with their mouths that were rich. So that theory could not be true.

One day I was listening to Bob George on People to People (a question and answering Bible segment) and this lady had called in and she quoted the scripture, “but by his stripes I was healed” and his response, “that isn’t what that mean”. My curiosity was really up then, but he never explained what it meant and I never ever heard him talk about that. A few weeks later God had me studying again about the flesh, etc. How there was NO GOOD THING in the flesh. Another nugget God dropped for my hearing was our flesh was the only thing now that was separating us from God. The more you meditate on that the better it gets.

I was listening to a television healing program and they kept quoting that scripture, “by his stripes you are healed, by his stripes you were healed”, It still did not make any sense. I ran to my husband and presented it to him that it just didn’t make sense. In the inside I was crying out to God, “help me, help me with my understanding”. Then my husband said, “there is still sin and there is sickness”. I just dismiss it in my mind and went back to my silence.

It is like God immediately released the truth out of my spirit into my mind so I could understand. It was like a light bulb went off. My husband was right, there is still sin and sickness. Even in those who God calls his family. His Son Jesus bored all that sin and sickness so that we could be back in relationship with God. We still sin, we still get sick but we are HEALED from the damage that sin did to us. It separated us from God. We are just walking out this life in the flesh, but our real life is in Jesus. It is all about a spiritual healing. John 9 is a clear picture of this healing. Even though this man was presented as physical blindness it was truly a spiritual blindness and it wasn’t his sin or his parents sins that did it; God wanted to manifest himself in him so that God would get ALL the glory.

All I can say is let them who have an ear; let them hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying.

I am in no way saying that God doesn’t still heal physical sickness supernaturally, and I am not saying that how a man thinks in his heart that it isn’t so. I am not saying that God will not give you the desire of your heart which could be healing. I am saying that everyone gets sick and nothing is contingent on your obedience to God in your flesh because your flesh profits you nothing. I’m saying “being BORN of GOD is everything. Being sick is nothing.

I finally get it and all I can say is Thank You Jesus.

John 1:29The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (This represents what Jesus did at the Cross).

31And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel (his chosen), therefore am I come baptizing with water. 36And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! (He was our sacafice for sins).

John 2:1 And the third day (3rd day represents the resurrection day; that is what makes Jesus different. He rose from the grave on the 3rd day) there was a marriage (marriage represents what happens to us when we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, or the new birth. We are woke up from the dead. We rose up with him, but was awaken at our appointed time to be joined with him) in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

2And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come (the hour Jesus was in reference to was the day he would died and rose from the grave. His time had not come). 5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. (n the beginning God created Adam which was not the best. The best wine came seond or last that would be Jesus. He is who we are joined up with in the marriage. This is representation of what God did in the beginning. 11This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

Verse 2:11 said this was the beginning of Miracles. This is the first miracles we see as a born again believer. We are Baptized in the Holy Spirit and THEN WE BELIEVE.

Here it is in the scripture. This was the FIRST mircle recorded and this is the first miracle we experience with God. We experience the miracle of Jesus joining up to us and then we believe. We become one with him. Two becoming one.

This is an awesome parable and so much more than I have talked about, but this is good to meditate on.

Be Belessed!
